3D Gel number plates Road Legal
3D gel number plates are a premium vehicle registration plate solution featuring raised alphanumeric characters finished with a high-gloss, domed gel coating. Designed for enhanced visual appeal and long-lasting durability, these plates offer a sophisticated alternative to traditional flat or printed number plates.
3D gel number plates are MOT legal in the UK, provided they meet the requirements set out in the British Standard for number plates (BS AU 145e)
All plates will come with BSAU code and our manufacture details on the bottom of the plate
⚠️ Note: Non-compliant "show plates" with unusual spacing, colours, or stylised fonts are not legal for road use and will cause MOT failure.
To maintain appearance and durability:
-
✅ Clean with mild car shampoo and a soft microfiber cloth
-
✅ Rinse with clean water and avoid abrasive scrubbing
-
❌ Avoid solvent-based cleaners, strong degreasers, or alcohol-based products
-
❌ Do not use automatic car washes with stiff brushes
-
❌ Avoid direct contact with pressure washers on edges or characters
Any requests of spacings or no spacing will automatically make the plate illegal and not for use on the public highway.
